About the Herb:
Grindelia, or gumweed as it is aptly named after its very sticky resin, is beneficial in the treatment of dry unproductive coughs, asthma, and bronchitis. It directs lung Qi downward and relieves counterflow in wheezing and coughs. It is also used in urinary tract infections as a diuretic. Grindelia is for short term use only.
Ingredients: Fresh Vancouver Island wildcrafted Grindelia (Grindelia stricta)
– Buds and flowers harvested at peak potency; 75% grain alcohol (1:2)
Suggested Use for adults: 5-30 drops up to 3X daily.
Take alone or add to cold or warm water, or a drink.
Shake well before each use. Fresh plant tinctures normally have small amounts of plant-derived sediment.
